On this 69th anniversary of D-Day, our thoughts and prayers of gratitude go to our soldiers of the Greatest Generation for their valiant actions to ensure our freedom. In particular, we remember and honor Major Dick Winters and the men of Easy Company of the 101st Airborne, who parachuted into Normandy on that fateful day.
Gary, Joe & Michael recently read Major Dick Winters’ war memoirs. He was a remarkable man and his memoirs may be one of the greatest guides on leadership ever written. In memory of Major Dick Winters (January 21, 1918 – January 2, 2011), a true American hero who should be and deserves to be honored in our nation’s newspapers and media today.
